Hurray Design is a creative design company, well-known for its thriving interior design practice. They express a dedication to personalizing creative ideas for every customer and helping them achieve their potential.

The main inspiration for the team was to introduce the concept of play and unconventional thinking, true to the brand’s mission of “Design Made Happy” and delightful collaboration between clients and themselves.

The Identity

A two-line approach for Hurray’s identity allows it to be versatile, useful for various applications where the second line can be changed to fit a particular sub-brand or category.

Typograhpy

Supria Sans Heavy functions as an eye-catching typeface for messaging that needs to be emphasized while Inter complements this by being a functional, universally recognizable body typeface.

Colors

The colors represent the combination of form and function by establishing neutral tones contrasted by playful colors. This is done with both the primary and secondary color palettes.

Grid

As part of the dynamic and playful layouts the team designed for Hurray, we also established a grid system that allows for this dynamism while retaining a structure that informs where elements will be placed and how they will be used. This creates consistency across several different layout applications.

Layout Principles

As Well-defined layout principles ensure that the brand’s equity translates to other mediums. It also makes Hurray stand out from other interior design agencies by having a unique design language that isn’t commonly seen within the industry yet is tasteful enough to not set Hurray too far apart.

Graphic Elements

Illustration Style

The brand’s illustration style departs from more detailed and complex graphics traditionally used within the industry and instead uses minimal vector illustrations that evoke an international, editorial feeling.

Instagram Posts

The brand has established an online presence via Instagram. We show the versatility of the design language through various layout styles.

Instagram Stories

Part of the brand’s main online presence and interaction is through Instagram stories to highlight certain projects, designs or inspirations. We show how the grid, layout principles, and graphic elements all combine to create a stand-out Instagram story.

Totebag

The brand also creates physical merchandise such as tote bags that they retail or give away at events or to clients.

Our team applied the new colors and patterns to the website and established a pleasing visual hierarchy among the page elements.

Optimized Website

We developed the site ensuring that users will have a seamless experience to all of the platforms (desktop, mobile and tablet) by updating the page templates length and content structure.

Mobile-Friendly

The brand’s website is optimized for mobile responsiveness to ensure that users have the same seamless experience throughout all devices.

Through applying new colors and visual elements, we were able to refresh Hurray’s website and communicate their 13th anniversary theme of “Design For You.” The optimized website and mobile-friendly feature helped users easily navigate through the website and discover more about the brand and its services.
