Bahani
DEsign
Kaibigan Floricultural Corp is a flower farm in Bukidnon; a company rooted in a family’s love for growing flowers. The family made use of their Lumad-cultivated farm to grow export-quality flowers such as Chrysanthemums and many more varieties.
Bahani is the combination of the words “ani” (meaning “harvest”) and “bahandi” (meaning “treasure”) to create the idea of a “treasured harvest.” This creates an elegant brand that enables them to introduce their world-class flowers to the Philippines and the rest of the world.
The Identity
We designed a logo for Bahani that harmoniously unites all the elements that make up the brand: the flower represents “ani,” the coin encircling it represents “bahandi,” and the eight petals represent the seven different indigenous groups in Bukidnon, with the last petal representing its citizens.
Typography
The display typeface, Career, is elegant and consists of curves, similar to the petals and growth of a flower.
Illustration
The illustrations we created for Bahani are intricately drawn to highlight the delicate nature of flowers, while the colorful palette creates harmony by bringing out the bright and fun side of flora. Similar to arranging real flowers, these illustrations can be thoughtfully patterned to create elegant visuals that feature the treasures Bukidnon and Bahani have to offer.
Application
The branded materials utilize full illustrations combined with minimal layouts for clean yet eye-catching visuals.
These establish a timeless, yet colorful brand that highlights the beauty of Bahani’s flowers.
